ConferencesTMN Conference in Bucharest
This year's TMN Survey Group Annual Conference in Bucharest brought together 68 members from 52 countries.
Held at the Grand Hotel Bucharest, the conference provided an excellent platform for professional exchange and international networking. After the welcome address by the host, Albert Haidu, Schaden Inspektion Romania, a series of exciting and insightful presentations were delivered.
Of particular note were the presentations by Nadya Kalpakchieva (Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group), in which the unique characteristics of the Bulgarian insurance market and its challenges in claims handling were discussed. Ingolf Schatz (Retrofit GmbH) provided insights into novel methods for loss mitigation through the repair, restoration and testing of electronic components. Fabian Blankemeyer (Battermann + Tillery Group) gave a presentation on the proper use of mobile data loggers in logistics.
